[PHOTOS] AtoZ, Matilda and Rion Five Meet and Greet at Pullman Hotel, Kuching Sarawak
20170818 - Being the first K-Pop Concert held in Borneo, organiser, Winter Star has prepared so many things for the fans, right as the guest artists, AtoZ, Matilda and Rion Five touched down in Kuching International Airport this morning. They prepared ticket giveaway for the fans who came to the airport to greet the idols. Following the arrival, these three rookie idol groups started off their schedule with a Meet and Greet at the hosting hotel, Pullman Kuching. Held at the hotel lobby, the up close and personal meet and greet allows fans to meet the idols and know them before the actual concert on Saturday 19th of August. AtoZ (에이투지) made the first appearance, with the members, Zero Z (Leader, 제로지), Hyunjae (현재) and Jihoon (지훈) greeting the fans with the featuring DJ for their performance, DJ Do Tll Die. The group expressed their excitement as Jihoon told the media and fans that this is their first overseas event since their debut. It is surprising that Jihoon speaks English very well, and that would surely be an advantage for the boys to interact with International fans in the future.
Coming up next, it is the beautiful vocal group, Matilda whom debuted last year with a bubbly song Macarena. Donned in white and blue, the girls looked so angelic and fresh despite having to do so many schedules including an ongoing musicals even on the day before they fly to Kuala Lumpur. Semmi, Haena, Sebyul and DanA expressed their gratitude towards the fans support for coming today, and they cannot wait to show what they've prepared for the concert tomorrow.
And last but not least, Rion Five appeared with the fans screaming their hearts out, as Jeonghyeon, Kangsan, Taewoo, Rohyun, Yousung and Minjae walked up the stage. Keeping their promise to come here, the boys were looking so amazed at the amount of fans chanting their names as they did their signature introduction, as well as introducing themselves. Taewoo who was a trainee for Produce 101 Season 2 received the most attention, and the members are so hyped with the fans reaction and they promised to do well during the concert on the next day. Leader Rohyun even reminded the fans to come for the concert too.
The Meet and Greet continued with the fansigning session, where 9 lucky fans were chosen among the crowd to go up the stage and received A to Z's first single album, Dark Lady. Rion Five and Matilda's fans were also then went up the stage to get the idols' autographs on the albums as well as posters courtesy of Rion Five Malaysia fanbase. The fans did not miss the chance to pass their gifts to the members, talk to them and even take photos with the members. There were also a lucky draw session at the end of the event where 4 ticket holders were chosen to have breakfast with the idols at the Pullman's Executive Lounge. The idols were then moved to Viva City, City One and also Cafe Cafe for a quick appearance at the malls to promote the concert to their fans.
