Hello everyone! How was your chinese New Year celebration? did you receive plenty of ang paos? I'm sure the celebration is awesome and I enjoyed myself during the CNY eve as well. It is fun to see the family members of my Chinese neighbour (this family was responsible for instilling the love of Taiwanese songs to me lol) coming home for the grand dinner. Later at night, there were fireworks every where and that is what makes CNY beautiful.

For an update, I am now working on the request, and I am now back in my warden residential house in Johore. I am planning to get myself a wireless modem so that I can download and upload things faster, but I have to wait for my salary first. keke~ anyway, it has been a while since we offer you freebies isn't it? Hello everyone! How are you? Ah, it feels like I haven't been here since forever! I am now updating from my new house, in Johore. Starting from today, Chazzie will be on open hiatus. The requests that are in the list will be done (they're 90% done. I'm coding them) and sent to the owner asap. I will be back home for the Chinese New Year and once I settled down at the new place (the latest, by this month) The site will fully open again. I'm sorry for the inconvenience caused. Hello there! Dorkistic.Net is pretty quiet these days since everyone has received their layouts. I've updated the status page and your request will probably be done by Saturday. Do check back again soon! We will also email you to inform about it. We also have one new Link Exchange site, which is La Victoire. Do visit her if you have time because you will be surprised with her awesome layout! Other sites are sporting new layouts including AwesomeNoobs, Untouchable Desires, Ravenous and also Superholicc. Who is Superholicc? Well, it's the new name of Fortissimo! They're now with a new name and you should check them out there. I'm happy that our site, Dorkistic.Net is on their "featured site" section. Hiya Dorkies! How are you doing? It's the third day of January and for Malaysian students, school is opening very soon! And for the other countries, Xmas break is over and school has started as well, isn't it? Back to site's update, I am thankful to the requester who sent us messages on the cbox informing that they have picked up the layout. I hope you will love the layout and so does your visitors ^^ I also received few more advertisement application at the AFF thread that I opened, and I will add your sites asap. Thank you for applying. And to our dear visitors and friends, why don't you check out the sites that we advertise up there? And to site owners, if you want your site to be added there, just submit the form at the AFF thread that I provided. I am still outlining the SOTM criteria, and as I chat with Arom and Rxnkim on Twitter today, I came out with another project, which I'm sure would be a fun one for you to join, especially those with a website or blog. The project will be organized at AwaitingLove. I will inform you once the project is up.

I am still coding the three blogskins that I made for you few days ago, but the Twitter background is available for download now! It's featuring B1A4 and 2NE1. Good evening! It's a gloomy Friday evening here in Malaysia. Looks like it's going to rain soon. So, as 2012 is coming, I've changed our layout and it is now featuring Lee Seunggi. This is the second time I'm using green for DD's layout, as the first one was U-Kiss, in 2010. It's simple, with blendings of stock images and textures, as compared to the complicated FT Island layout which uses the PNG stocks a lot. I hope it doesn't look too dull, as the original intention is to bring out a more matured feeling, and a bit of seriousness as we enter a new year. We hope that this new year will be a better year for us, as we grow a year older. It took me about thirty minutes to design the header, and approximately two hours to code the layout, including performing error check. I am still adding and editing a few things here and there and if you experienced error, such as broken links, do inform me on the CBox.

With this new layout, and new year, we have a new section on our site, which is the Site Of The Month. Since the CBOX is moved to its own box, and the advertisement is now on top, so we are adding a new section, where every month, we will choose one site to be the Site Of The Month. Interested? Hey everyone! I'm so happy that the internet connection is back and I finally get to upload all the requester's layouts! I hope they love it because I enjoyed making them, especially those with Xmas theme. How's your xmas? I hope you enjoy it and cherish the moments ^^ So far, we've completed all the pending requests, and we've received two new ones which I will start making after I update this site. There will be more blogskins coming up on weekend, and hopefully, new layout for DD too! haha~ don't get your hopes too high because I haven't got any ideas or outline for the new layout yet XD Anyway, I've made a few icons featuring Teen Top, Shinee and TroubleMaker and it can be downloaded from my icon house, EmpireUmma. Aren't you excited for TeenTop's comeback? I've heard the teaser and it is something that definitely will capture the fans' heart and will take over the chart.

Anyway, for an announcement, again, we would like to stress here that we are not accepting affiliation. It means, we appreciate it if you don't suddenly appear on our cbox and said "affies?". No way. We are tired of cleaning out our affiliation list because it not many sites are being active nowadays. Affiliation is upon invite only, which means, we are the one who will go to your site, and apply, if we think that your site is a potential affiliation. But no fret, you can always link exchange, with us too. I am adding our LE list after this.

As for the updates of our affiliates, Fortissimo and RavenousTemps are having a short break and I hope they will be back soon. Have you seen Dreality's new layout? It's wicked i tell ya ^^

Happy Xmas everyone! Sadly that I have an urgent notice to tell you guys. I'm currently without Internet connection, to be exact, a very fast connection. With this slow broadband connection, it is hard for me to upload images and the codes because the connection keeps dying in the middle of the upload. I am sorry to all the requesters, as I'm sure all of you are waiting for the new layout for Xmas. Hopefully, the internet will be fixed on Tuesday, after the Xmas break. 23122011 - Twitter and Tumblr Theme Available!

It's raining again! I kinda love the weather right now because it's cold but it's not too cold like some of the place which is experiencing Winter. Hehe~ I've finished three requests and hopefully YatLuvG, Stephie and Maya love the graphics made for them. I am now coding the rest of the layout, and I will upload them asap. Our Internet connection is currently down (probably TMNet is doing some maintenance), but luckily, I have my own Broadband that I can use. However, it is not as fast and convenient as the high-speed wifi connection that our house has XD So yeah, if I didn't reply your message after one day sending it, that means I don't have Internet. Hopefully it will be fixed very soon. Ah, I also added 6 Twitter Background featuring Boyfriend! I am currently using Kwangmin's background on my Twitter account. You can visit my Twitter to get a live preview of the layout. I also added 2 Tumblr Layouts which features..... An SNSD and a B1A4 member. You have to visit our layout page to see them yourself! Just for your information, I am still learning my way with Tumblr themes and that is the basic layout that I learned from Tumblr's tutorial page. Hiya Dorkies! how are you doing? I hope everyone is in a good health. It's getting cold out there for those who are having winter, and those in Asia, it's been raining a lot these few days, eh? I like it when it rains especially when I'm indoor, haha~ So, I have updated the status list, and please check your name there, in case you didn't receive my confirmation email. I think I'm going to stop accepting request until I finish what I got in hand right now. At first it was only three but then, more requests are coming. Thank you so much! To my dear requester, I hope you are patiently waiting for the graphics but I will try to finish it before Xmas. Two days to go and please pray that I can finish them! As for requesters under Nana Unnie, I hope you can wait a little longer because she's now busy with her designing job, I mean, her real job. It's the end of the year and many companies are taking pictures and so she is extremely busy with her daily job. Maybe you can go post an encouraging messages on our cbox? Hiya everyone! How are you doing? The weather is very cold today even though the sun is shining brightly outside. Thank you for all your congratulation messages. We really appreciate it ^^ I have updated the STATUS page and do pick up your request there. However, I haven't upload your link button. It is still uploading at the moment. Do come back later to pick it up on the frontpage. You have to download your requests asap because I will remove them after a week, and if you haven't pick it up, you have to email me so that I can send it to you. If there is any problem regarding the layout or installation, please email me so that I can give further explanation. Sending the message on cbox WITHOUT your email or link can be a big problem too. As you can see the banner up there, we received an award from NineCreativity as the Best Request/Site of 2011. I want to write a very long thank you speech but I'm not feeling well at the moment. The meds that I took has got into me and I think I'm going to sleep soon... Thank you to all of you who nominated, voted and always visit our sites even though it's pretty quiet these days...

The first award we received was in 2009 from Feisty Princess as Top Graphic Site, followed by July's Site of the Month from Lost Shadows 2010 and this is the award for 2011 and I am proud of you guys for keeping us alive until today. Us the Dorks will work hard and maintain our good services as long as we live (or until we get married, at least.. haha)

A big shoutout to BangBangVIP who won the Best Graphic Designer of 2011 and BeastDongwoon's story for Best Fanfic of 2011...!!

Hello friends and affies! I'm going to be very quick for today's update because we have 14 pending request at the moment and we're also working on new freebies for you guys. Be sure to check out our Facebook page and Twitter for the latest stuff from DD and the crews. To those who requested from Nana Unnie, she will take a little more time in finishing your request due to her workload. It's year-end and many couples are getting married. Since she's working at a design studio, so she will be very busy editing the wedding photos and invitation cards. I hope you can wait for a bit. While waiting, what about you go to her portfolio and use the premade layout that she made. She's got tonnes of layouts ready for you there ^^ The weather is getting cold, so I hope all of you will take care of your health and remember to wear thicker clothes to avoid falling sick on Xmas day XD

07122011 STATUS UPDATE AND A HIATUS

Hellloooo Dorkies! aha, how are you guys doing? It's Tuesday here in Malaysia and I'm up awake even though it's 3 in the morning. So it's now December and Xmas is coming and I can see websites are changing their layout to suit the winter theme ^^ I will troll around and screencap sites with winter feels later so go change your layout! haha..How about Dorkistic? hmm, we don't really celebrate Xmas but we might have something to suit the seasons greeting mode coming up later this week! haha~ Nonetheless, I have updated the status page and you can see problematic request has been added. If you didn't receive any email after requesting, you might want to check if your name is there and if it's there, please read the rules carefully and fill in the form correctly. you can ask in cbox if you need help in filling in the form but remember to leaver your site's URL or email so that we can get back to you.

As for designer's status, Nana Unnie is pretty busy at her workplace, so those who requested from her might want to wait for a while before she can finish them. Pynkfaery would be on hiatus since she's moving to a new place. She is now a teacher at a college! woot woot~ And as for me, I am available ONLY for layout and wallpaper request.

And last but not least, a few reminders :
1. We are not accepting affies. Do not ask for affiliation on the cbox because we will remove it. Go to Link In/Out section to read more about it.
2. Please leave your email or website URL when commenting on cbox. We will not reply to your messages if there's no url/email even though you're asking important information.
3. To those who have received the requested layout, PLEASE INFORM ON CBOX. It's as simple as saying "i got the layout" but some of you didn't bother to message us and when we checked, you already upload the layout. Isn't it hard to leave us that short message??

Hello everyone! enjoying your weekend? This ahjumma is pretty tired after a hectic days from Thursday until Saturday. 2PM concert was awesome and Nana Unnie and I met for a while outside the stadium and took picture together. I haven't seen her for a while! And we haven't seen Pynkfaery for a while too.. ahh, I miss her XD Anyway, I just updated the status page with the request progress, pending list as well as problematic request. Those who requested, please fill in the form carefully to avoid your request to be problematic and rejected. If you have problem with the form, feel free to ask us and we will assist you with that. and please leave behind your URL or Email when you are posting on our message box above. Messages without URL or Email will be ignored even when I know you well. Last week's requests are now in error check as well as uploading list. Imgur.com is down last week so I cannot send your layout rightaway. I'm afraid that if I use imageshack, those without IS account won't be able to view your header. Right now I'm doing the final check if there's anything that I missed out in the request, as well as to make sure the layout is working on your blogging platform. Hello lovely visitors and friends! how are you doing? As I'm writing this, I'm completing Melinda's request =) Request are coming slow, but that kinda give us time to finish each request on time. I'm now working on the new layout page. Soon, you can just download your desired free layout in just one click, without having to go to Blogskins. It is more convenient, especially when I don't really like going to blogskins anymore XD Other than that, I've been kinda busy with school because the long holiday starts next week, so we need to settle lots of things. I haven't got time to go around and ask for affies, but do keep in touch through our cbox and I might go to your site and ask for affie (even though you're not a graphic/request site!)

Greetings to our beloved visitors and friends! I hope you're in an awesome weekend mode ^^ Well, I am! It has been a hectic week for me and I'm glad that weekend is here and I can get some rest. Yeah, Chazzie is old, and being a teacher is not easy! hahaha.... since I started working two months ago, I get tired easily.. mentally tired XD However, thank you to those who always makes my day by giving supports either in AFF, Facebook, Twitter and Dorkistic's Cbox. You guys are my biggest inspirations ^^ So yeah, enough with the sentimentals, I present you Dorkistic's new layout! FT Island is the winner for the layout poll that I did last month haha XD Well, I use this image because I love their hairstyles here and they all look happy and that cheers up our bright layout right? hehe~ Frustrated that MBlaq and Orange Caramel didn't win? Don't worry, we will also feature them in our site, but in the layout section XD along with this new look, I made sort of massive revamp to Dorkistic. I haven't added the pages, and I will do it once I finish writing this update. You might see new links up there (which I haven't added the content yet) and here is the summary of Dorkistic's Revamp #19:

New layout : Featuring FT Island since they received the most vote, and using pink because it's the favourite colour of Pynkfaery, Nana Unnie and me ^^

Excuse my lost mind. Hello everyone! Dorkistic is back... sorta~ haha. We are now on revamp mode and you can see DGNA's Header up there. Mian~ those who have been following me, or Nana Unnie might now that we planned to feature FT Island on our layout, but just now I saw this picture of DGNA in Open World's Update and I straightly made a layout featuring that picture. There's another one which is their concept picture but I couldn't find a HD one, so I used this one instead. I am sorry if the color looks weird, but making this while listening to their finally a Korean comeback song makes me lose my mind XD I finished this layout in less than 30 minutes and this is the comeout.. -bows- I will work hard for the actual layout. So, yeah, we are now on revamp mode and we will have our new look up once I sent out all the request. If you notice, I started sending out the request via email since 4shared is very slow these days, in fact, the Internet connection in my country is pretty slow and I got DCed lots of time. The technician informed that they're doing some upgrading and hopefully everything will be back as normal. Oh, and Chazzie will not be accepting anymore request until she finishes her pending list. So all request will be forwarded to Nana Unnie. Hello dear affies, friends and visitors! How are you guys? I hope you enjoy your weekend. Last week was a very hectic week for me because I've been called to work as a replacement/relief teacher at one of the schools in my hometown. Surprisingly, it was my former school! So, I am now working from 7am to 3pm every week day. Therefore, I might be finishing your request a bit late but most of the request are done in terms of the design, and I am starting to code them soon. Since these days, not many people are using 1024x768 screen resolution, so I decided to design the layout and put them at the center. This is to ensure that the layout will look good in any web browsers (hopefully) as well as screen resolution. If you would love your layout to be to the left or to the right, do inform me in the form. I will also email you your request because I think if I wait for all the layout to finish, you guys will never receive your layout soon xD So, I will email you as soon as I finish your layout. Hello everyone! How was your Monday? Manic? Motionless? I hope you had a fun Monday and it's Tuesday already. Happy Birthday to ZE:A's Minwoo! Haha, okay, back to business. Hi Dorkies! How are you enjoying your Saturday? We're on the 4th day of Eid and I enjoyed it so far ^^ It's time for an update after leaving this site unattended for a few days due to Eid break. Firstly, layout request from August has been uploaded. However, there are a few which is still under construction because of the complex needs in the layout. Secondly, I updated the pending list for me and will update Nana unnie's after this. Nana Unnie is on Eid hiatus so please be understanding if she complete your request a bit late.

And I would also give a reminder and warning to those who plans to request. We are a bunch of nice person to deal with, so please don't take it for granted. Think deeply before requesting. Do not request and then after fifteen minutes, telling us that you would like to cancel it. It is stated in the rules that you will be blacklisted straightaway. Read the rule carefully and take time in filling in the form. We are using English here, so I am expecting people to understand the command and questions in the form. We will not tolerate with those who do not fill in the form correctly. Make sure to choose the correct type of layout. If you are using Webs, choose webs and STICK TO IT. Do not move to Blogger and then starts complaining that the post is not visible on the page. I shall pronounce you as a pabbo if you do that.

This is a blessing month of Eid and I would like to be nice to you. However, it is tiring to be nice to people but people take it so lightly. We don't mind if we do not receive any request at all. Hahaha, every time there's a collab, it always featuring Super Junior XD She's one talented designer and I love her posters. I'm honoured to get to collaborate with her. We have here a total of 48 Super Junior Icons which were grouped into patches. All you have to do is to save the image and then crop them using your image editor. Personally, today was not a good day for me, but when I logged in to my laptop later in the evening, I received an email from TeamComelet and wallahhh!!! They sent us a surprise gift! Seriously, I'm so happy and touched by their love towards Dorkistic.Net. As you can see right now, the layout has changed into a sexy one featuring the hottest Mr. Simple, Choi Siwon AND the icon is also featuring the fellow hottie, Yunho! pedomode! ngehehehehe~ How do you like the layout? I like it sooo much! I think I'm going to stick with this layout for a while until I come out with a new one later. You don't know how hard I've been trying to make a new layout for DD since the new domain but I can't seem to find a good design for it (I will end up hitting the "delete" keys most of the time) and I am so thankful that this layout was sent in my inbox. Guys, go visit them because TeamComelet is awesome!

I'm currently uploading the new page that I've been working on for a few months already. I think I should publish the page now rather than waiting because I don't know when will I have the time to do it again later ^^

Hello! Chazzie reporting here ^^ Today is a very special day. We are officially with NEW DOMAIN!. A very special shoutout to Kitty who registered the domain for us. Therefore, DD is now Dorkistic.Net! Ahhh, I'm so proud of the name! and thank you to those who suggested which domain extension that we should use. To our affies, please change our link and if you want, you can change the link with the new one here:

And the layout.... heee... *foolish* its actually for a "revamp-mode" layout of DD since I thought that domain registration will take sometimes. However, it only takes five minutes for Blogger to confirm my new link and I have to rush in with the coding. I hope it looks find in all your browsers. If you have problem viewing, please inform us.

I would like to suggest you to register at ImageShack because it can help you to view images smoothly. Not only in Dorkistic, but also other sites which use Imageshack as their major host. Hi everyone! This is Chazzie doing the occasional updates XD I hope you guys are doing well and some of you are preparing for school right? mwahahaha, enjoy our last days of holidays kids! kekekke~ Back in the days, the remaining few days of holiday is like the moody days for me and my siblings. We will easily got into fights. Ahh, those days XD Anyway, I've been trying to expand my style of layout-making and this time, I'm trying to design layouts featuring stock photos. Yeap, a non-kpop layout. I found it pretty hard and I ended up editing the picture just by adding coloring and then went straight to coding it. However, I like the one called "Endless Road" because I like the coding style, and I even use it for a collab page, Superseoul of Jojoshinji and I opened in tumblr called Hankyu Resources. Hi everyone! this is Chazzie! How are you guys enjoying this week? For Muslim, we have started our Month of Ramadhan and today is the third day of fasting. I like the atmosphere during Ramadhan where the weather seems so calm and relaxed ^^ As you can see, we have a new layout! ^^ Well, if you guys follow us on Facebook and Twitter, you will know how stress I was in deciding who to feature XD Indeed, I made a few layouts and it's all turns out pretty ~~bad~~ and this morning, I was browsing KoreanPhotoshoots to search for X5's picture which I plan to use for the layout but I ended up staring at Yunho's pictures and jajaannn.. there you go.. the layout XD How do you like it? I like the vintage car there and the color. As I mentioned before, I planned for a Back To Basic concept and that's why I choose to implement Black and Gray. I hope you like it =)

Along with the layout change, there's a few stuff that I added into this site:

1. TWITTER WIDGET : As you can see on the sidebar, I've added a twitter widget and from there, you will see site promotions where I will update you with our affiliate and member's latest news like Staff Application, Layout Change, Name Change and etc. Feel free to follow us there to receive updates right on your dashboard. For Dorkistic's update, you can follow us @dorkistic

2. MINUS.COM : I am now in the middle of moving all my stuff in minus.com to ImageShack. Since moving to a new domain, Minus seems unstable, and it will delete your pictures without warning =.= To those who requested from me and the picture did not appear on the layout please inform me so that I can upload it at a new server

3. MEMBERSHIP : Since it's already August, Dorkistic's membership drive is officially closed. To those who have received their membership card, congratulations, and remember, the more you request from us, the more benefit you will receive ^^ and tho those who are waiting for the card, or those who already registered, thank you very much and I shall process your application asap.

4. LAYOUT STYLE : Since we are now focusing on Layout Request only, so starting from the next batch, you can choose between two designs, which is the Horizontal Navigation or Sidebar Navigation. You have to inform us in the form which one would you prefer. And again, we are also accepting Webs.com, Livejournal and Tumblr layout.

5. SITE OF THE DAY : A new promotion style for your site, we will randomly choose one site from the CBOX and we will promote them at the bottom of our updates, because after this, we will update at least once a week. Hello Dorkies! This is Chazzie reporting from my room at 4.29am *looking at watch to confirm* Haha... sorry, I'm high of caffein! So yeah, how are you guys doing? I hope everyone is doing fine. I was down with fever on Sunday and Monday and it's not cool at all =.= Anyway, as in today, I have either sent out or upload all the requests that I received and basically I am in zero-request mode haha.. so I took the opportunity to do some updates and I hope our dear visitors and requesters can take note about few things. Haha, this isthe reason why I don't want to move to a domain hosting XD So many things are here in DD's Blogger account and to move "house" would be very hard XD So many files, so many pages and so many links! Hi everyone! how was your day? ahhhh, it's awkward to ask that at 2 in the morning! Well, I have been very busy with housechores these day but I am still online almost every day. I'am currently working on the button maker which is actually super hard to do! All the scripts and image links are making me dizzy. Right now, I am listening to the audiobook of Tolkien's The Children of Hurin while updating DD. Well, it's been a while since we uploaded new freebies, eh? Embrace yourself, I just uploaded three new layouts!! yeah.. the theme is supposed to be Rookies but somehow Infinite was there too! hahha... REVAMP 17 - Year 5!

Hello there! Surprised? Well, not really eh.. Welcome back to Dorkistic Design, your one stop home for layout request ^^ Is the color too bright for you? Well, we're proud to present you our new layout for the 5th anniversary which is on the 17th of May. However, since I have to go for a short course that day, so I decided to upload it today. I hope you like the new look. The navigation is on the header and I'm featuring F(x) because.. uh, well, I just randomly found the picture in my folder! ahah XD I hope you won't get lost in the new look and feel free to tell us what you think about the new layout AND if there is any error when viewing it.

I've finished uploading all the request except for 2pmvietguh and blingkey which I'll be finishing it after this. And again, sorry for being very late and I hope the layout is worth waiting. To tell you a good news, I've finished my post-graduate study and before I am posted to any school around September, I will have more time to work with Dorkistic and to interact with you guys. Revamp 13

Greetings from Malaysia! Finally, after three days of all-nighters, I finally finished coding the new layout. Please give a round applause to Nana Unnie for the wonderful header featuring Cube Family! They came to Malaysia last month for Digi K-Pop Party and even though none of us got the chance to go there, we're glad that they came to Malaysia for a promotion tho XD Anyway, How do you like the layout? I hope you like it and if you're linda lost, please ask at our chatbox. The navigation is there below the header.

This is the 13th revamp of the site and I did a few changes here and there. We haven't had freebies for a while now because since we are busy with our real-life work, so it's hard to make some freebies. For now, we will focus on the request which keeps coming in everyday. Thank you for requesting!! However, we will try to bring you more freebies in the future.

We also will put down our affiliates from the previous revamp and already open for new affiliations. Got sites? Hello everyone! Dorkistic Design would like to wish you a Happy New Year! Okay, I'm going to be quick here. As you can see, this is a new layout from us. Well, a temporary layout because Nana Unnie is making a new one at the moment. I designed this at 4 in the morning after I finished downloading MBC's performance. I did it half way because I fell asleep while coding it. I will add more things and update the affiliate list later. The color is kinda weird I know XD ahahaha~ It features F.Cuz because I was listening to their Midnight Sun's album while browsing the internet last night.

I also just finished last week's request, but I have to delay uploading it until tonight because of few things. I'm sorry for the delay, especially those who requested for new year layout.

Happy Sunday !! Nana here. I have one important announcement to make. Sorry for the long delay of your requests especially for blog layout / blog coding. I have encountered major coding issue, which related to Blogger new system of auto-pagination. Before this, it was okay. But now, some codings became incompatible with Blogger (cannot be viewed, etc.).

Auto-pagination have been implemented months ago but I was busy to revamp the codings. So I hope you can give me time to solve this and get back to you. I am still new with codings so it might took a long time. If you're in rush (maybe to celebrate your site's anniversary with new layouts or related), I will put some recommended sites here for you.

Hi everyone, how are you doing? I hope you guys are doing fine so far. It's already December and Xmas is coming. I'm sure you guys are busy preparing for the festive season. We are now working hard to finish the requests. It might be slow but I would like to thank you guys for your patience. Hello kids! How are you? I'm sneaking out from the ICT class and stayed at the cyber cafe XD Don't try this at home! ahahha... mian, I'm just being random here~ how's your weekdays so far? for those who lives in Malaysia, their school holiday is coming soon and I'm sure those kids are excited to go on vacation. I uploaded few more request and will try to finish the rest soon. You must be wondering about the title there right? Well, I received few comments (I rather say it as comment instead of complain) regarding the layout that I made. Some people think that I made other people's layout better than his or her. Are you saying that I'm biased? Well, yes I am XD ahahhaa... Therefore, here's the tips for you in order to get a high quality layout from us. We are not being biased. We put all our heart in all the layout we made because they're our babies too.

1. Provide Pictures : It will save our time, and it will prevent you from saying "I don't like this picture of him. I prefer him in blonde, etc etc" We will use pictures that we think will suit your website name/personality, and not just simply take the first picture we saw on google image.

2. Provide high-quality picture : It doesn't have to be big, because sometimes, they are small picture but in a very high definition quality.

and of course, it's best for you to provide large picture so that we can crop, cut and do lot's of thing with it ^^

Hello kids! How are you? I hope you're enjoying your weekend. I can't even do any coding or designing because I'm home and everything is in my PC at the hostel. My new laptop doesn't have photosohp, and even colorcop for me to code XD However, while waiting, I made some ~~crappy~~ icons using Pixlr last night. It features Co-Ed and SNSD from their latest MVs as requested by my friends from Plurk. I made SNSD headers for blogskins too but I need to be back to my hostel befoer I can code them. I'm still not used with my new laptop XD I have U-Kiss caps from the MV too but haven't icon them yet..Hope you like them and let us know if you're using it at your site/blog. Happy Sunday ^^

Hello friends and families! Hope you're enjoying your weekdays so far. I'm sorry if I disappoint you, since I usually will update when I finished the request. Omo, my title sounds like SPAM heading in your email eh?? kekeke~I don't know how to put it! I've been browsing around and I'm happy to see new sites growing, and I also can see that the sunbae sites are going on semi-hiatus, like Lost Shadows, I-Deas, Shredded Hearts.. (but xHappy Dreams just made their comeback!! yay!!!). Yeah, we're getting older, so we have other important thing to do in life XD Anyway, as I browse around, I realize one thing (that I did realize few months ago)about SPAM MESSAGES compared to years ago, we can hardly get spam messages in our cbox, but nowadays, it's just beyond control! It's annoying to read those messages, instead of our visitors and affies messages right? Well, DD used to get (and still get it now) spam messages through our comment section (the one under each post) that's why we don't have commenting system anymore. It's something that we cannot control, however, I think I found few steps for us to prevent the spammer from messing up our cbox:

Keep your site active. The spammer will find inactive (and new) site to post their link and messages. Try to update at least once a week.

Display the DATE on the cbox. Don't hide the date on your cbox. The date shows how active your cbox are. The more often you interact with your visitors there, the less they will put their messages

Put Hiatus Sign. If you're on hiatus, put HIATUS sign and remove your cbox, or if you still want to keep the cbox, make sure it is an active cbox.

Spammer will randomly browse around and post link. You need to be active so that their link won't stay visible for a long time on your cbox. The other spammer will add their link also when they see the other spammers there.

I think, to keep it short, we just need to stay active in our site/blog. Even though we are not writing, we can still interact with our visitors through the cbox. Dorkistic used to have such spammers (when we're in a long hiatus few months ago) but we managed to overcome it and since I think it works, that's why I'm sharing the tips with you.

To all new webmissies and site, GOOD LUCK! you can always come here or message us at DD's email if you want us to advertise your site.

To the hiatus sites, high-5! ahahaha, we're on semi hiatus too. Hope you guys will get some rest, and be back soon!

Updates and Freebies

Hello kids!!! How are you these days? Well, as for me, I'm struggling myself to stay alive, heh XD Anyway, Dorkistic has been pretty quiet these days, but of course, that doesn't mean that we're inactive or CLOSING YET XD. Yeah, I've been thinking to closing down these site for several times, everytime I'm feeling down, but I think it will be unfair to all our lovely affies and friends (you guys are not visitors, but our friends, you know that? ♥ ) who has been supporting us since our first year. Life is pretty challenging for us here. Nana Unnie is busy working, as she had a new job last month, and I'm happy that she's enjoying her new career now ^^ Pynkfaery, our magnae, is busy studying for the final exam. Anyone studying in IIUM? then good luck to you guys, and to all who are sitting for exam this month ^^ And as for me, I just started my 2nd semester. This is the 2nd week, but I already received 20 projects and assignments! See the number? just like the number of request that I need to finish soon XD

Again, I'm feeling thankful to those who patiently waits for their requests to be done. I'm having a very bad internet connection these days that made it difficult for me to check on my emails and get your request. But still, we are slowly getting on each of your request and will finish them as soon as we can ^^

As for the update, we are all in the progress of finishing your layout. We already have a header for our November layout, but we need to put the priority on our requesters first and will only upload DD's new layout when we finish yours. I'm also in the middle of outlining the next revamp for DD, where I think it's going to be a MAJOR revamp too. Aahahhaa.. we need to rearrange DD again because it looks pretty messed up. Mian~ XD

Anyway, as you can see, apart from keeping you updated here, we are also updating you via our fanpage on Facebook. Last two weeks (or more XD) I made B2ST Special Edition Blogskins to celebrate their comeback and I didn't put it up here. If you visit us at our fanpage, I already put up the link there. So today, here's the link to the blogskin, in case you haven't seen them yet. I love the new style of blogskinning, where we use light colors to co-operate with white or gray. Hello awesome visitors, lovely affies and beloved friends! Dorkistic Design would like to say HUGE SORRY for the unforgiveably long delay of your request. As you know, Imagehost.org is currently down but then when they're back, they are no longer hosting other files except images. Therefore, we need to find a new server for us to upload all your requests. After few days, we finally find FIlEDEN!! yayy!!!! thanks a lot.. we're yet to try them and this batch's pick up will be the first batch that's using fileden.com for the file host. I hope it works fine..

At the same time, we're having a rundown here on our server. The internet connection is currently bad T__T I hardly get to download even a single picture, and sometimes, I can't even read your request because the too-slow connection!

Anyway, finally, I've uploaded 8 pick-ups and updated the pending list. Thank you for your patience and I hope the rest will patiently wait for your request. And for the rest, just so you know, we are all back in action, and in the middle of another great makeover (REVAMP time!!)

Hello everyone! How are you guys?? Hope you're doing fine and waiting patiently for the weekend ^^ omomo, I hope the new layout won't hurt your eyes! Hehehe, Finally, I came out with a new layout for Dorkistic! I'm sorry if it's too simple XD And the color..I just want DD to look cheerful these days, so that's why the color combination are almost the same with the previous one. As you can see, again, we featured Kim Brothers on the layout (the previous one was during Layout No.25), and this time, it's for the sake of promoting their event! Kim Hyung Jun is coming to Malaysia for a private fan meeting next week, and to add with that, his brother, Kibum will be the special guest! That's why we have them on our layout for this month..

There are few changes and addition that I've made just now. I can't believe it I took more than two hours to actually organize the new layout! ahhh, my skills... needs to be improved! Anyway, yeah, here's the list:

College and work are killing us lately. All three of us are like struggling our way with life T__T Thank you for all the jia yous and hwaitings that you guys sent to us. We really appreciate that ^^ We will work hard to finish your request soon ^^ Upon this update, there are few things that we need to inform you guys, especially those who wanted to request from us. Lately, I found many people breaking the rules and it kinda disappoint me.. Please read below:

1. To request, please click REQUEST, and read the RULES. You will find the FORM LINK in the rules. Those who use ECHO form will not be entertained anymore because we're no longer using ECHO. Make sure that the form is by WUFOO.
2. Please read the DESCRIPTIONS in the form. If you wanted a layout, click only ONE of below

Hallo everyone! Chazzie unnie's here. I'm sorry that we barely update this since for the past few weeks. Everyone is so busy with our work, outstations and assignments, and to add with that, the Internet connections are pretty...bad~ For those who requested from me, I will try to upload them all by this weekend. Thank you for your patience and jia yous, I managed to finish most of them in the midst of my project work and all XD We don't want to go on hiatus again because if we do, I guess it will be like our last hiatus, and we're like closing forever! We're trying not to go up to that yet, and that's why we're still open with request, even though we might finish them a little late.

As I am busy with my project work and stuff, Nana Unnie just came back from Terengganu last week. Heuuu, I supposed to join them but I have to prepare for a presentation for Monday's class. She's there to support out Gamelan Team who performed for "World Gamelan Festival".And our magnae, Pynkfaery is busy with her stall. There is a festival here in our hostel and the students are opening stalls, selling lots of thing and our magnae is handling her own stall, selling Yong Tau Foos and steamboats. *sigh* since I'm allergic to seafoods, all I can do is to visit her stall everyday and cheering for her! hahaha~ Dear visitors who're staying in IIUM, do come to MARFEST and visit our magnae's stall yeah? ^^
